Frank Lloyd Wright on Sale

If only I had a couple million dollars.

I find myself saying that way too often when looking at housing in the Bay Area.  Normally the houses are shiny and nice, but generally don’t look like they’re worth a small fortune to me.  However, recently an exceptional property appeared on the market, close enough that I could easily commute to work.  It doesn’t hurt that it was designed by the greatest American architect in history, Frank Lloyd Wright.

Located in the San Joaquin Valley, the Fawcett House has only had one owner since its commission in 1950.  It was completed a few years after Wright’s death, and is a great example of a Usonian home from his later career.  Perched on 80 acres of land, it can be yours for only $2.7 million!

Visit the Fawcett House website for more information.
