Modern German Treehouses

April 15th, 2009 · 1 Comment

Every suburban kid dreams of having a treehouse in the backyard.  A sanctuary away from siblings, parents and, most of all, chores.  Even well into adulthood, I still think treehouses are cool.

Apparently some Germans do too.  Baumraum (German for “tree space”) has created some absolutely wonderful modern treehouses.  While I’ve seen a few amazing examples of treehouses on the Internet over the years, almost none of them are intended for children.  These are unique in that they combine stellar design with the playtime desires of every kid.  Just imagine how cool a birthday party would be in one of these!

Visit Baumraum’s site (in German) for more details.
