Noe Valley Modern

Located just down the street from our house, this modern Noe Valley home is a perfect example of how to combine contemporary lines with a natural feel. I stumbled upon it while browsing for neighborhood real estate. As it turns out, it’s the residence and studio of the talented industrial designer responsible for, among other things, the wonderful Tivo remote. Needless to say, his design tastes lay bare in the architecture and design of the home as well. While the living room and its lime green Egg chairs are stunning, I think I’m falling in love with the roof deck nestled into the hills on the edge of the valley. It is extremely rare in this neighborhood to be so close to nature. Having a spa-like bathroom doesn’t hurt either. It’s real estate like this that makes me both envious and inspired.
634 30th St., San Francisco. For more details, see the agent’s listing.

Thanks Tim,
Your kind words are overwhelming and giving me second thoughts about staying in this beautiful well-designed place. I am so glad there are people out there like Tim really appreciating design and architecture.
